It's Probably Ashley

Now that I'm all set up at home and abusing my internet like crazy it didn't take me long to realize that I'm extremely boring and have nothing else to do but surf the net and eat. So it leaves me little choice but to write so I can get my mind off things like rage comics, cat videos and other brain-damaging internet memes for a bit. I've settled with DIY beauty tips and I've recently purchased a few grams of honey for me to use as a facial mask together with some oatmeal and milk (wow, it sounds like a good breakfast).

I've also recently been watching some DIY facial mask tutorials and which ingredients would help me get better skin in the least amount of time. I found that lemons were my best choice in my opinion, as they can help reduce the blemishes on my face caused by nasty pimples. There was one tutorial wherein the host (LOL) used compressed face masks combined with lemon juice and such, and recommended this as being super effective.

Which brings me to the question of: "Where the hell can I get my hands on these awesome things?"

They expand into a face mask when added with any liquid of your preference and they soak it all up! I think they're pretty handy to keep and quite efficient to use because you can buy lots and lots and you can keep them stocked up for future use without taking up a ton of space.

Really, really interested in them and where to get them! So far I haven't found a method similar to this one except using those cream-things that dry into a face mask which you can wash off after a few minutes. These ones are ready to be peeled off your face after you're done with them - no hassle! Besides, with the compressed masks I can use different ingredients to suit my needs (like if I suddenly decide I want cucumber in them instead of honey or lemon) and I wouldn't have to spend $20 on different bottles of gunk I won't get to use everyday.

So, if anyone knows how to order them from the Philippines please do leave a message. Would totally appreciate it and as a thank-you I will send you a million virtual hugs. :))

Seriously, help!

Here's me blogging FINALLY in my room.
Pardon the haggard look on my face - I just got home after walking through the strong rain and chilly wind after attending the Tournament of the Champions held at SM Annex earlier today. I was supposed to cosplay Lenalee Lee of D.gray-man, but in the end I had to leave my costume at home for personal reasons. Maybe next time, Lenalee.

Kenso, on the other hand, cosplayed Shun Ukiya of Gatekeepers. This actually made us realize that our generation is somewhat dwindling (for lack of a better term). Virtually no one recognized who he was, except for our friends (who are roughly around the same age as Kenso and I) and one other passerby who was kind enough to take a picture with him. It saddened me how such great animes like Gatekeepers could be overtaken by other shows, regardless if they are new. I guess I just miss the old days.

Pics of the event later, I'm waiting for Kenso to finish uploading the rest of the pictures. Ja!

Surprised? Yeah, so am I. I just stopped by a shop because I'm already an hour late for school so I decided to just wait for 12.30 so I can head off to my next class.

I often wonder how I course through life with this attitude I have. I feel like I'm the worst person in the world to even have such great parents, great friends and an awesome boyfriend - and I even had the gall to feel depressed. I don't even know why LOL. I didn't find anyone to talk to but I somehow managed to not care again. Whatever.

We're now living in the new house for at least a month (and still no internet) and so far everything's going okay. They had to stop the construction because mom didn't like their work or something and she wants to look for new people again. But that's okay. Dad's leaving for the Middle East again sometime next week, smack in the middle of my midterms so I won't be able to come with them to the airport to send him off. Drat.

About 20 days after my last post, it is safe to say that I have done nothing productive ever since. Oh, except on the first week I went to Cavite to join  my group Dexterity Collective for our first anniversary shoot. Our concept was Born this Way, something they've been brewing for a long time and I was so happy to have been a part of the shoot ^______^ Here's a bit of my favorite shots:

 Shot by Franz Gatchalian.

There were six models - three boys and three girls. Won't be posting their shots because I don't know if it's okay that I do LOL. Please visit our main website here for more shots of this shoot and our other past shoots. :)

Then last Saturday Kenso and I went to the Philippine Normal University for their annual Tanabata Festival. The last time they held that event we were both there but didn't cross paths because we both kept moving around mingling with the other attendees. He wasn't my boyfriend yet back then LOL. This year not much people attended but we did get to see some of our friends. We got there late because I had classes and he had to bake some cookies we were supposed to sell on that event. They didn't come out right, though, no matter what we did so we just gave them away XD.He cosplayed Neji from Naruto~

Nica, Kenso, Maddie, Jameer, Joanna and Kim at the end of the event.

Then there's me stuck in my school uniform because I left parts of my costume at home.

We went to Robinson's right after the event to get something to eat and play at the arcade because that's what cosplayers do! LOL except I never hung out at arcades and I can't play shit besides those shooting games. Spell loser? Haha.We stopped by McDonald's before entering the mall, though. Had to eat, too hungry for words. I couldn't stop laughing at Markee and his jokes! It was probably the first time I've ever laughed that hard in a while~

We hung out at the arcade for a few hours and played a few games. It was then that I noticed that that coin-dropping-jackpot-machine thing had some tickets dangling from its slot. I took the tickets, and then the machine made some sort of jingle and out came more tickets! I took those too and after a few minutes more tickets came spewing out! When Kenso and the others noticed what I was doing they all wanted in and we spent a few bucks dropping one-peso coins to see who could make the tokens fall using the least coins LOLz. It was pretty fun and by the end of the night we all accumulated about 305 tickets which we traded in for lollipops and pencils so we could all share the prizes evenly :D

Us, brandishing the ChupaChups we all won from the coin-toss thingy.
L-R: Nica, Jameer, Joanna, Markee, Maddie and me.

That's it for now, I guess. More stories soon, including one where I almost waved a cleaver and a butcher's knife at some people because they were trespassing on our property. :D I hope that phone company would install our internet soon. Ja!

PS: I am not crazy. I promise!

Just a quick update. We're now living in the newly-furnished and decorated house and yesterday was our first time to actually spend the night there, even though most of our stuff including our beds had been transferred to our new room a week before. My sister and I stayed behind in the old house for a bit and waited until our father had arrived here in Manila. Now that he's here we officially moved in to the new house to sort of celebrate his arrival. Had a short drinking session last night with my brother, uncle and father before I went to bed (finally! My sister and I have been camping out in the old house for a week and we slept on a comforter).

It been a rainy week and I wasn't able to come to class today. I have no idea if they suspended classes but somehow I didn't care. It's probably because of the weather but lately I've been feeling so down and lethargic to even do anything. It's not much of a sinking feeling, but it's not unlike an empty, sickening sensation. It's like being lost in a supermarket when you came there all by yourself. So now, I've not done anything productive at all for the past week, and I can't bring myself to begin with a task.

I'll probably need someone to talk to. That or the weather must just be getting the best of me. The sun's been missing for almost a month now after all.

I have to go back now. Ja.

PS: I'll edit this later.

Will purchase this on my next Etude House haul. I'm having trouble putting on the proper concealer and blending that with my foundation. I'll cross my fingers and hope this'll work for me! I've had enough comments about the dark circles under my eyes for quite a while.

I think I'll do a review after using this for 2 weeks. Let's see how it goes~

It's been a long time since I used a proper blogging site to spill words in. Unfortunately I forgot the username of my old Blogspot account, so I was forced to make a new one. This will officially serve as my more personal blog as opposed to my Tumblr, which is brimming with reblogs and reposts. My original posts could hardly be seen or noticed.

Anyway, I'll start this off with the news that we're finally moving to a different house by the first week of July. I don't know. I don't want to call it a new house because it's actually an old ancestral home that belonged to our neighbor who happened to be moving to the States and wanted to get rid of it before they leave our country for good. So to me it's kind of oxymoronic to call an ancestral home a new house. I don't know. What's funny is that this house is no more or no less than a hundred steps from where I am now. LMAO it's like we never even left! The only thing that will change is my route to school - I'll have to walk a little more distance to get a ride. Other than that, I'm more than eager to welcome the new changes: bigger rooms for me and my little sister to customize! We have already picked out a color of paint for the walls. We'll also have a front yard for a change, which will be quite an improvement because the last four houses we moved to never had yards and only had little space for anything we have. They were so tiny! So at least with the new(?) house, we can keep the car inside the garage and still have room for our pet dog AND a really small hut LOL.

So there, we're expecting the renovations to be finished within the end of next week so we can make preparations to move our stuff. Cheers~
